In Mugen Train Arc, we get to see a little bit more of 煉獄れんごく (Rengoku). The first episode of this arc is an anime original episode, and it is about a night before Rengoku boards Mugen Train.

This quote is actually from 鎹鴉かすがいがらす (Kasugai Garasu, Kasugai Crows) when it was on patrol.

異常 (ijō) means ‘strangeness’ or ‘abnormality’, and なし means ’none’. Therefore, 異常なし (ijō nashi) means nothing is abnormal (i.e. all clear).

I couldn’t be more thankful!

実じつに (jitsu ni): indeed

ありがたい (arigatai): grateful, thankful

煉獄 れんごく said this phrase when he was talking to a grandma and her granddaughter who were selling bento boxes.

You can use this phrase when you thank someone instead of saying your regular ありがとう.

When a train staff questions why 煉獄れんごく on the train, he replies with this phrase, pretending he was a bento vendor.
