Well, there are not so many vocabulary to learn in this quote. This is because the format of the sentence pattern used in this quote is quite set. As long as you understand these grammar points, you can create new sentences by only adding a few words!
Grammar Point 1 – 〜ても〜ても: No Matter / Even if
This quote by Tanjiro not only shows his kind-heartedness and strong determination to go forward no matter what, but also it contains 2 very useful grammar points.
The first grammar point we will discuss is the usage of ても. This means ‘no matter’ or ‘even if’ and it is often used in the following way. The ても part is normally repeated twice to emphasise that you did something ‘many times over’. This てもても pattern is often followed by a negative verb form: See example sentences below.

In the anime translation, this part is translated as ‘no matter how many people I lose’. However, the verb in the quote 「失う」 does not have an object. Therefore, it’s up to the listener as to they want to interpret this phrase. The translation should be more like ‘No matter what one loses’. It could be ‘people’ or intangible things such as ‘dream’ or ‘hope’.
